This gorgeous lace cowl is a fast, easy-wear knit that would be a fabulous gift, if you don't simply keep it for yourself! Inspired by patterns in sand, kelp and sea urchins, this cowl combines lots of beautiful stitchwork including lace patterns, cables and a knitted cast-off. The pattern is worked in one piece and then the short diagonals are seamed together with a mattress stitch after the cowl has been blocked.
The Anacapa Island Cowl is knitted using Luma, a blend of merino wool, organic cotton, linen, and silk. This DK-weight yarn is perfect for making this cowl as it provides crisp stitch definition and will provide a touch of warmth when it is cool.
